I am one lazy fuck today so here is one lazy fucking post be careful I’m all over the place today:

 

It’s what, a week into the baseball off-season?  and the bullshit rumors are as high as Randy Johnson’ eye but this much is true, Omar is under orders to get rid of Luis Castillo and find a new second baseman, So far it looks like LA or Chicago could be the landing spot for LC. If he goes to Hollywood how will they tell the difference between Castillo and a palm tree.?

Nice of the NY Daily News to reprint the conversation we’ve had here all week about the Mets going after players via other teams fire sales?  Better late than never I guess.

 

Out of habit I still click on links for NEWSDAY writers to read their columns or blogs then realize I have to pay  5 bucks. If you want me to pay 5 bucks to read stories on NEWSDAY’ website there better be some porn on there as well.

 

LeBron James says he will change his number to 6 next year as homage to Michael Jordan. But what LBJ is doing is paying tribute to MJ’s greatest rip off of his fans. When Jordan returned from his NBA “retirement” (more like suspension from gambling)  he switched jersey numbers to 45, this way MJ fans who bought 200,000,000 23 BULLS jerseys could go out and update their wardrobe with 200 mil 45’s. Kobe Bryant did the same thing after the rape charges were dropped against him in 2004, changing his uni number from 8 to 24 and LBJ is the latest to pull this scam. How many NEW YORK 6 jersey requests the NBA Store has gotten since this morning?

 

I’m not happy with the play of the NY Rangers lately especially losing to the Atlanta Thrashers at MSG last night but I am invoking the “Fred Shero Rule”. The great Rangers coach and hockey genius always said “you wait until Christmas to evaluate your team” 

 

I love Donnie Walsh being shocked SHOCKED that the Knicks suck so bad they are unwatchable. Sure the Knickerbockers are gearing up to make LBJ a partner in Cablevison and give his Mom her own reality show but the one thing the Knicks could have done is drafted Brandon Jennings then at least you’d have one player worthy enough to entice LeBron to come to NYC.

 

 

Why does Mike Singeltary wear a stop watch around his neck on the 49ers sidelines along with a cross that looks like it comes from the Ozzie Osbourne Collection. Singletary who was a great MLB with the Bears and is a  Hall of Famer as well reacted to last nights win over the Bears like he won a Super Bowl. Geez Mike I hope you left your pants on after the game.
