Pirates fan dives over railing for foul ball, immediately gives it away to young Mets fan (Big League Stew)

There are two things that I really enjoy about the game of baseball that actually have very little to do with the game itself. The first, of course, are the random acts of kindness performed by players, coaches, managers, and even fans, that go a long way towards making another person's day. That's actually the clear No. 1, but next on the list would have to be the great, sometimes creative efforts made by fans to secure to foul balls and home runs. That covers the feel good side of baseball, and also the entertainment side. But you know what's somehow even better? Those very rare occasions when both of those great feelings come together at the same moment. I'm happy to report this is one of those rare occasions. Check it out from PNC Park during the Pittsburgh Pirates 3-2 victory over the New York Mets on Friday night . After Eric Young Jr. sliced a foul ball into the seats along the third base line, an adult Pirates fans leans over the railing into the box seats below to make a play and has it bounce off his hands to the ground below.
