Sept 8 (The Sports Xchange) - The Boston Red Sox have lost center fielder Jacoby Ellsbury indefinitely, but pitcher Clay Buchholz is expected to return to action on Tuesday. Ellsbury is out with a non-displaced compressed fracture of his right foot, Red Sox manager John Farrell said on Sunday, according to the team website. Farrell said the Red Sox hope Ellsbury can return by the end of the regular season, which would allow him to participate in the playoffs.
