HOWARD MEGDAL FOR GM CAMPAIGN KICKS OFF IN TIMES SQUARE

Yesterday at the Marriott Marquis in the heart of Times Square, Howard Megdal launched his runÂ to become the General Manager of the NY Mets. Do not be fooled by the recent love letter written in the daily fish wraps, it’s time for old ideas and ways of doing business in Flushing to come to a halt andÂ time for a young man with vision and vigor to take over the regins of the Mets baseball operation, asÂ far as I’m concerned, Howard Megdal is the man to lead us to that goal.

Sure things are all sunshine and seashells but don’t fool yourself Mets fans, the Baltimore Orioles don’t come up on the Mets schedule again for a few years. But isn’t winning grand? Wouldn’t you like to have the feeling of being a Victor every year? Well, then there is only one man who can do thatÂ for this organization and that’s Howard Megdal.

Are you a Mets fan that feels down and out with this awful season? Well, you’re not alone my friend as there are plenty of other Disciples of the Blue and Orange that feel the same way. At a time like this you should not be alone with your depressing thoughts and that is why Greg Prince of Faith and Fear in Flushing and Jon Springer of Mets By The Numbers are the Mets fans Samaritans and have put together AMAZIN’ TUESDAYS at TWO BOOTS RESTAURANT (384 Grand St Manhattan) to soothe our souls and fill our bellies with beer and pizza and talk about our favorite baseball team and maybe plan a coup of $iti Field (well maybe not a coup but after a few cold Rheingoldâ€™s who knows what could happen)

Â So come out this Tuesday Night July 21^stÂ at 7PM for the first installment of AMAZINâ€™ TUESDAY believe you need to get out and youâ€™ll feel better for it.

Going to root for the Good Ollie today and hopefully a sweep of a team in the Nats that make the 1962 Mets look like world beaters. I thought I had a tough time drumming the “Fundies” of baseball into the head of 13 yr olds my heart goes out to Manny Acta with that group he has.

The Mets Police has done it again and exposed the Skill Sets as clueless. FirstÂ he reports that he paid $25 bucks for ar $15.00 seat at the $iti Field box office (this is a Marx Brothers Night of the Races scenario as Chico sells his tuti fruty ice-a cream at the track ) and then shows the gall of the Mets to charge Ron Hunt the first All Star in Mets history $869 for two seats from Shea that he asked for.

The Clueless Skill Sets strike again.
