The Skill Sets spent the least amount of money on this years draft picks. UUUUUUGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH

If that doesn’t some up the Skill Sets Era it’s those two sentences. Just when you think their potty trained, they shit their pants.

Our only hope is, from all accounts, John Ricco is a sharp dude, maybe he can get through to Jeffey that the draft and farm system are the life blood of a sports organization. Maybe he could put together a flash card presentation showing how the Rays or the Angels have built pennant contenders.

Or better yet, if Ricco can pursued Jeffey to do what he does best and cash his pay check from his daddy’s real esate business the better for the world of Blue and Orange

Are you a Mets fan that feels down and out with this awful season? Well, you’re not alone my friend as there are plenty of other Disciples of the Blue and Orange that feel the same way. At a time like this you should not be alone with your depressing thoughts and that is why Greg Prince of Faith and Fear in Flushing and Jon Springer of Mets By The Numbers are the Mets fans Samaritans and have put together AMAZIN’ TUESDAYS at TWO BOOTS RESTAURANT (384 Grand St Manhattan) to soothe our souls and fill our bellies with beer and pizza and talk about our favorite baseball team and maybe plan a coup of $iti Field (well maybe not a coup but after a few cold Rheingold’s who knows what could happen)

So come out this Tuesday Night July 21^st at 7PM for the first installment of AMAZIN’ TUESDAY believe you need to get out and you’ll feel better for it.

Greetings from the wilderness and from the looks of things I’m not missing much from our boys in Blue and Orange.

Reading the post on other sites (sorry I can’t link the sites as I’m not only pressed for time but the internet connection is so bad I’ve named it WILPON) and there looks like there will be a big fan revolt come September.

The bulls eye is squarley on Omar’s back and it everytime J-Man speaks after a loss he sticks another dagger in Minaya’ back.

Manuel’s mantra now is we will do this with pitching and defense and tells everyone this is all I’ve got and I’m making the best of it.

The more I see the more it looks like there may need to be an organizational cleansing on the horrizon.
