Why can’t we get some straight answers around here? Does Jose Reyes need surgery or not? If he does and according to the doctors would need two months to recuperate and be ready for 2010, then what are the Mets and Reyes waiting for? I understand Reyes feels his manhood is being questioned but what should be first and foremost here is getting Reyes healthy for 2010. This just proves the lack of leadership in this organization. It’s tine to do what’s best not only for Jose Reyes but for the New York Mets as well.

As for Carlos Delgado thank you for all you’ve done here in your four season as a Met. Hopefully you will find an AL team that needs a DH part time first baseman. No need to come back to $iti Field this season your check s will be sent to you in the mail.
